Studio Phạm minh hiếu (F.2021, Hanoi, Vietnam) embodies the vision of an art practice unconstrained by traditional categories and gathers individuals from across disciplines.
The members of the Studio assume indeterminate titles, which allows them to perform the roles of artist, architect, designer, technician, coordinator, scientist, or social-historical-political researcher. Together with artist Phạm Minh Hiếu, they create ‘total installations’—speculated realities which also aim to question art’s own ontology in the contemporary condition.
The Studio is open to collaboration across geographical and cultural contexts to develop a sustainable creative network. We aspire to create the interference and interaction between other speculative individuals and associations, innovative suppliers, and interdisciplinary workshops, research centers and universities, as well as regional and international art residencies, organizations, institutions, and museums.
“>In addition to artistic creation, the studio encompasses a wide range of activities such as research, archive, education, etc., to facilitate critical discourses on the ontology of the artwork in our contemporary context.
We seeks to connect with other actors in the field to work together toward a contemporary, sustainable and professional art complex, especially in our base in Vietnam.
